Working Against Violence for Everyone (WAVE)

Temporary, grant-based position providing crisis intervention, advocacy, and support to victims of power-based violence and their children over the telephone and in person. Provided legal and systems advocacy with law enforcement, courts, medical services, employment, and other organizations. Also assisted in writing and applying for grants, managing social media and various creative projects, as well as attending conferences and training for advocates.

Simon Property Group

I was a Corporate Brand Manager for Simon Property Group and oversaw all aspects of brand management aimed at driving business performance, customer engagement, brand visibility, and revenue generation. I focused on Simon Giftcards® by coordinating and managing campaign collateral for a portfolio of 200+ properties. As part of working with gift cards, I worked with legal and various outside agencies to ensure disclaimers and financial statements were accurate and up to date.

  • Achieved success working with internal and external teams to almost double sales and surpass the $1 Billion Simon Giftcard® sales goal for 2019.

Day in and day out, I accurately and efficiently coordinated and supervised communications assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting; my work encompassed graphic design for print and digital and content creation for our website and social media outreach to increase customer satisfaction and digital presence, among other areas.

I pride myself on being able to adapt and learn new systems and programs. For instance, I never climbed before becoming the Marketing Manager at a rock climbing gym and was able to quickly learn and then teach safety, skills, and technique.
